Welcome to the Anaheim Family Justice Center !
The Anaheim Family Justice Center (AFJC) is a place where people can go for help -- people whose lives have been touched by Domestic Violence, Child Abuse, Sexual Assault, or Elder/Dependent Adult Abuse.
These are often referred to as "Family Crimes." This is because these crimes especially affect the family, or often happen within the family unit.
The AFJC is not a "police station." Police detectives are available if needed. But the first person you are likely to speak with is a Victim Advocate. The Victim Advocate will help determine what assistance you need.
On-site at the AFJC are Police, Legal Aid, Victim-Witness, Adult Protective Services, Children & Family Services, Financial Aid, and others. Domestic Violence Temporary Restraining Orders can be obtained at the AFJC instead of going to Court.
